Welcome to the 2017-18 Banks Youth Basketball Season! For those returning, we welcome you back and look forward to another great year, and for our new members, we welcome you to our youth community basketball program.

The Banks Youth Basketball program includes our “Small Ball” program, which consists of co-ed teams for boys and girls in grades K through 2, boys and girls recreational basketball in grades 3 and 4 and boys and girls “Classic Basketball” (competitive) for grades 5 through 8.

Click on the tabs to the left to find out more about our Small Ball, Rec and Classic programs.

The primary focus of the Banks Youth Basketball Program is to provide a healthy, positive atmosphere for young athletes to develop fundamental athletic skills and teamwork. The program will coordinate with and provide a foundation for the Banks High School sports program.

PLEASE NOTE: The BYBA had to make changes to our gym use policy due to damage to school property last year that resulted in over $1800 in damages. ALL PRACTICES WILL BE CLOSED to anyone who is not a coach, a player or a parent during their team's specific practice time. BYBA only has access to gyms, bathrooms and the hallway next to the gym entrance. At no time are players and/or other individuals allowed in any other part of the school grounds. If damage to school property occurs during practice or games, the team(s) participating during the time damage occurred will be responsible for any costs that result in that damage. Disciplinary action will occur to individual(s) directly involved in property damage.  And, lastly, if children are dropped off unsupervised, without a parent or coach present, disciplinary action will occur.
